Come In Closer is the one Christmas decoration you just might leave out the whole year. In the daytime, this painting is a wintry display of blue depth and sparkle. Blue layers of ornaments hang with a stem of mistletoe that invites the one you want to steal a kiss from to come closer.
After dark....that's when the magic kicks in. The white berries turn red, the ornaments glow blue, and multicolored dots appear around the edges. It's a one-of-a-kind decoration that NO ONE else will have. A true conversation starter!
Of course, the painting comes with a black light so that you can show off the glow effect and charge the colors at any given moment. The glow will fade down to an aqua blue and shine softly the rest of the night.
The painting is acrylic and airbrush on a 18x14 gallery-wrapped canvas that is nearly 2 inches thick. The canvas is painted around the sides and has no need for a frame. It comes wired and ready to hang!
This piece of magic awaits!

I prefer to frame them without glass, but if you use glass, just make sure it is not UV resistant.
Sunshine will definitely charge the paint and allow it to glow all night. However, the black light brings out the colors better and brighter. I would keep the black light nearby to use for an extra dose of energy for the artwork.
Search for 'UV black light' on Amazon.com. And remember, not all black lights are UV lights. Make sure to choose a UV black light.
When a black light is used on it for a bit, the painting will glow bright for maybe 20 mintues and then fade, but it won't stop shining. It will continue to glow softly all night in shades of blue and green.
This can happen when it gets humid and the painting is left unframed. When you frame the painting, this will flatten it and keep it in place. However, you can also lightly mist the back of the painting and place a book on top of it. Give it a couple of hours to dry and lift the book. All flat again!
